據陸媒《電子工程專輯》報導，鴻鈞微電子的裁員計畫幾乎波及所有部門，部分部門的裁員比例更是驚人，除了反映出公司在外部環境壓力下的艱難處境，同時也凸顯了大陸晶片行業面臨的嚴峻挑戰。
據《電子工程專輯》分析，鴻鈞微電子這波大裁員，據信與台積電於11月11日停止供應大陸客戶7奈米以下製程晶片的舉措脫不了關係。
