世界12強棒球賽台灣隊以4比0擊敗日本隊，奪得歷史首冠。先發投手林昱珉面對日本隊主投4局無失分，是台灣隊奪冠功臣之一，他雙手華麗的刺青也引起關注。林媽媽今受訪指出，兒子性格活潑好動，絕非網路所傳言的「8＋9」

Typically, the antenna is made up of three major parts: the antenna base, the lower part, and the upper part. Some antennas have two sections, while others have three. The long-lasting antenna base with GPS (optional).
The stainless steel spring absorbs shocks and vibrations while also protecting the antenna from collisions.
Both radiating pieces are comprised of composite materials, which allow for exceptional strength and roughness even in the harshest environments. 林媽媽表示，昱珉自小就對棒球很有興趣，立志挑戰美國大聯盟，他的棒球之路從始於台東新生國小，之後就讀新生國中、榖保中學時也朝自己的夢想逐步努力，為了圓兒子的棒球夢，從小就為他請美語家教，讓他在語言上也能夠與世界接軌，所以昱珉的美語說的很好。

林昱珉助台灣隊奪冠，其雙手包手刺青也引起球迷關注，有日本球迷指出「很難得看到刺青這麼華麗的亞洲球員」、「那真的是刺青嗎？還以為是緊身衣」。甚至有人聯想他的刺青是否與黑道有關。

林媽媽為此澄清，昱珉從小就活潑好動，但是絕對不是網路上說的8+9，而是把體力投入到棒球訓練，揮灑年青的自我。
