雖現代發票多半已經數位化、存入載具，但仍有不少店家使用傳統長條紙本發票；近就有一名網友在對1、2月發票時，意外發現統一編號的下方有個圖案，仔細一看，竟是隻兔子，由於今年兔年，讓她驚喜直呼「統一發票上有生肖」；貼文曝光，掀起議論，也釣出內行網友解釋，這隻兔子的真正用途。
該名女網友在Dcrad上以「統一發票上有生肖」為題發文，提到她最近在對獎1、2月發票的時候，突然發現發票上、統一編號下方竟然有一隻跳躍的小兔兔，且再去看了3-4月期發票，上面也有一隻不同姿勢的兔子，好奇不曉得有沒有其他人注意到。

貼文一出，立刻引發熱論，網友紛紛留言直呼「哇！長知識了」、「哇超可愛，一直只有注意顏色不同」、「偷偷告訴你，上面的某個字會少一筆畫，而且每期少的都不一樣」、「雖然從小看到大，但真的沒發現耶！太酷了吧」、「設計人員：Ｘ終於，有人發現了」、「已經很久沒拿到傳統發票了」。
還有內行網友解釋，傳統發票上的圖案每2個月會換一次，而且從來不會重複，用過的就不會再出現，「搞得我都想收集了」。其實，統一編號下方的圖案稱作「團花」，具有防偽功能，以12生肖為主題，每年更換，且「團花」上超級細微的花紋線條，無法掃描或複印重製，有心人士若想變更數字騙獎金，會在團花上留下破壞痕跡，一眼就識破。此外，每期統一發票列印的國字中，也會隨機少筆畫。
