美式賣場好市多先前配合的國泰世華銀好市多聯名卡即將到期，也因此近日掀起一陣換卡潮，紛紛轉申辦富邦Costco卡，不過，有會員卻爆料，自己申辦信用卡竟只有5千元額度，引發網友熱議。對此，台北富邦銀也做出回應了。不過，有銀行主管也提醒，撇除跟「存款餘額」的因素外，還有5情境也會導致可用額度很低。

針對好市多黑鑽會員換卡，卻只被核發「額度5千元」一事，台北富邦銀行說明，為加速Costco聯名卡申辦客戶及早取得卡片，針對已於本行開立存款帳戶的客戶，在信用狀況良好且符合法規限制下，會優先由系統依其於本行的「存款餘額」，快速核定簡易額度後製卡寄發，後續將優先邀請其補充收入證明，接著根據補充的收入證明重新審核，調整出適切的額度。

不過，根據《ETtoday新聞雲》報導，有銀行主管表示，發卡行通常希望卡戶消費越多越好，因此額度方面不會刻意只給一點點，但撇除上述「存款餘額」的因素外，仍有幾種情境會導致可用額度很低。

一、信用評等極差，若其他信用卡有嚴重逾期記錄或負債過高，就可能被拒絕批卡，或者被核發低可用額度。

二、第一次辦富邦卡。

三、舊好市多卡可用額度不高，若卡友舊的好市多卡可用額度不高，換卡時北富銀不會擅自幫忙調整額度。
