美日韓外長今天首度會晤，三人強調維護台海和平穩定的重要性，反對片面以武力或脅迫改變現狀的企圖，並支持台灣有意義地適當參與國際組織。相較於去年2月的三國外長聲明，支持台灣國際參與是今年的新增內容。
美國國務卿盧比歐（Marco Rubio）、韓國外交部長趙兌烈及日本外務大臣岩屋毅在慕尼黑安全會議（Munich Security Conference）場邊舉行會談。美國國務院會後發布新聞稿指出，三位外長重申美日韓不可動搖的夥伴關係，強調對印太區域安全和繁榮的共同承諾。

盧比歐、趙兌烈及岩屋毅也承諾採取果斷行動以因應威脅及強化經濟韌性。
在對台立場方面，外長們強調維護台海和平穩定的重要性，是國際社會安全與繁榮不可或缺的要素。三人也鼓勵和平解決兩岸問題。
除了重申因應北韓威脅，外長們也提到將致力透過開發美國實惠可靠的能源與自然資源，以強化能源安全合作，特別是在液化天然氣（LNG）領域。他們也歡迎推動重要礦產供應鏈多元化。
根據新聞稿，三人承諾將強化關鍵及新興科技領域的合作，包括人工智慧（AI）、半導體、量子科學、網路安全、生物科技及資通訊方面，並計劃強化三國國家實驗室的合作。
此外，三位外長重申對自由、公平全球經濟秩序的承諾，堅決反對經濟脅迫與不公平貿易。聲明指出，「國務卿及外長們明確表示，他們將並肩反對任何破壞民主制度、經濟獨立和全球安全穩定的行為」。（中央社華盛頓15日電）
